Connecting the Heart of the Bahamas

At Pinder's Ferry, we see our work as more than just moving passengers. It means helping a student get to school on time, a vendor reach the market, and families stay connected across the water. As a family-owned business, we are simply honored to serve our neighbors and be part of your daily journeys.

Founded in the spirit of local resilience, our fleet is operated by a trusted Bahamian crew who knows these waters as well as they know their own neighbors.

Reliability First Rain or shine, our daily schedule is our bond to the community.

Growing the Fleet

As demand grew, so did the fleet. Additional vessels were added to handle more passengers, more cargo, and more charter requests. Pinder's Ferry became the name families trusted when they needed to get home for a graduation, a wedding, or a new beginning.

Safety Above Everything

A full safety upgrade programme was launched across the fleet — life jackets, emergency equipment, and marine safety certifications for every crew member. The Bahamas deserved a ferry service that put people first, and that commitment has never wavered.

Rebuilding After Dorian

When Hurricane Dorian devastated Abaco, we lost everything. It took two to three grueling months to catch ourselves, rebuild our lives, and finally resume operations. We fought to get back on the water because we knew our community needed to reconnect.
